From the Desk of the Mayor...
The citizens of Missouri Valley and surrounding areas, the Missouri Valley City Council and I are excited about welcoming RAGBRAI back to Missouri Valley. We offer the warmest welcome to all of you that will be participating in RAGBRAI XXXVI. We have made many improvements to our community since RAGBRAI was last here in 1997. We have an expanded park system, a state of the art Aquatic Center, greatly enlarged/enhanced public library and the Rand Community Senior Center are just to name a few. In downtown Missouri Valley you will find the Rialto Theater, various shopping opportunities and restaurants close by. On the west-side of town you will discover various hotels and restaurants, more shopping opportunities as well as the Missouri Valley Antique Arts and Craft Mall and the Wisecup Family Farm Museum. Missouri Valley is an excellent and safe place to live, work and play. Our quality of life is exceptional. We want you to enjoy your time with us. Welcome to Missouri Valley.
